Chronicle of my love for 김현중

I have long wanted to write about a chronicle on how I became a fan of my huge crush KIM HYUN JOONG 김현중.

I was already in my country of residence now when I first came to know Kim Hyun Joong. Back in the late 2010, a friend of mine once or twice asked me if I’d like to watch Boys Over Flower, first because she said it has a beautiful story, second, that all the guys in it were cute and also because she knows for a fact that I had a lot of free time back then to watch online series.

I never expected that I will fall for the guy named Yoon Ji Hoo on that said drama series. Among the four guys [F-4] it was the blonde and really good looking yet kind of snob and quiet guy who instantly caught my interest. 

It was like love at first sight. ^_^ =p

HJ’s character in BOF was so darn endearing that if you really were Jandi you couldn’t help falling in love with him. Being always there when you needed him most, like your knight in shining armour.

Getting addicted to BOF made me thirst for him more and my curiosity about him really became strong that I searched for and about him through the internet and there I found [like treasure ;-)] some of Hyun Joong’s videos from his ss501 days prior to BOF, and the episodes of We Got Married where he was paired off with a celebrity named Hwang Bo.  It’s a reality show where couple pretend to live like they are “married”, minus the intimate act of course! and trying to live harmoniously.

My love for Hyun Joong has reached its new heights as I discover his funny, creative, competitive and charming character . This time it’s not the show that I got addicted to but Hyun Joong himself. I never thought I would love a celebrity such intense to the point that I sleep with my laptop because I watched, believe it or not some times up to the wee hours of the morning, some of his WGM episodes repeatedly, reviewing the parts where I find him so handsomely cute and hilarious. Yes! I know it sounds  ridiculous and stupid(?) but come to think of it, I was crazy in love! Though at times, I admit I still visit those HJ sites.

Being far away from Asia could only mean an access to Hyun Joong through the internet and I’m grateful to all the social networks most especially Twitter for I was able to follow his hard core fans from Korea stalking his almost every move and I appreciate it most that they share it with us. I have actually made friends with some of his fans and get real time updates about him and his activities.

I can say I have watched almost if not all videos uploaded on yt and from some other video sharing website with Hyun Joong on it be it new or old ones and I happily viewed them all to my delight. I have actually had a previous post regarding this.

To this day, I continue getting updates about him. He looks more manly now, more fit [with the 'abs' really] and still ever dashing.

When his Breakdown album came out all of us in Hyun Joong’s world [Henecia] I believe moved the skies to show our all out support for him, bought his CD, streamed online and it paid off for he won twice.

Honestly speaking, HJ is not really good at singing, though he tried and is still trying his best to come up as the best he could just like what he always says. Yet for me his voice  is already music to my ears. Yup! I am biased, remember I'm a big fan! har. har. =) And in fairness to him, I can confidently and proudly say he’s the best dancer!

I didn’t miss his Playful Kiss drama either, for me being a fan is not like owning him so I wish him his personal happiness and having said that I was kind of secretly wishing Hyun Joong and his equally cute and charming partner in the series were in to each other. And if I were to ask from all the ladies HJ should get hooked up with, it was Jung So Min that I like best for him.

I am greatly happy too that he is involve with sports so I [or even the other fans, should I say] could still see him alive and kicking even when he's not promoting something.

Now that his second mini album has been released he’s totally visible again and I hope to catch up with some of the updates as I too am getting more busy with work.

Enough said, what I wish for Kim Hyun Joong is a success that he could never imagine and forget in his lifetime. Though I wish that even if he reached the summit of his career he would still remain humble and respectful.

I guess I would still remain a fan ‘til Hyun Joong gets old and I will look forward to the day he will tie knots with his special someone and the hope of seeing him on drama series playing major roles [or not] and has greatly improved his acting prowess.
