You're Beautiful

Due to Heartstrings fever, I have come to watch this two-year old drama out of curiosity for Park Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa's love team. I have read a lot of feedback about them comparing their characters in this drama to Heartstrings.

So, curiosity won over me and found it interesting hence was able to finish the 16-episode series in no time.
For those who haven't seen it [yet], it's about a nun in training who was forced to join a famous boy band called A N JELL to 'save face' her twin brother who's recuperating in US from bad cosmetic surgery.

She has to live with the boys in a 'dorm' of their band's Company and being out of touch from the outside world while living in the convent gave so much fun and thrill for Go Mi Nam who was trying so hard not to be caught as a girl. Yet, one of the band members found out her true identity after her debut but didn't squeal it to anyone...for the purpose of entertaining himself only to realize that he's already secretly falling for her, and loving her from a distance. Guess who he was?
Without Words - song apt for Shin Woo's love for Mi Nam

What I find amusing and entertaining are those funny antics Go Mi Nam's manager taught her, like whenever her heart is pounding too much, she was advised to drink a glass of water and to control her outpouring emotion is to press the tip of her nose upwards and harder  when she feels she couldn't bear it anymore. Think of a pig's nose. That's it! : p
I know! she looked stupid but it was really funny everytime she does it in front of her secret love.

Go Mi Nam's love is Hwang Tae Kyung whom she secretly refers to as her 'star' the leader and lead vocalist of their band who after a while eventually recognized his feelings for her as he was always around her as her usual actual trouble shooter.

I especially like the scenes whenever she calls out to her Mother Superior (in convent) when she ever gets into trouble or when she couldn't get out of  a weird awkward situation and how the mother superior magically appears in her dream or thoughts to provide answers or solutions to her troubles. For me it's like asking for divine intervention and I'm glad that the writer of this drama had actually acknowledge those kind of thing.

And to top it all, I found one of my comfort songs in this drama [like a comfort food eh?] that whenever I listened to it, it makes me feel strangely happier and helps me feel better when at times sadness comes by to visit me.
Lovely Day - Park Shin Hye

Wouldn't you be happy for her that three guys [not just 3 actually] were always ready to protect her and give her assistance? That's Go Mi Nam--so feeling beautiful. Indeed, she is a beauty inside and out in the series.

Each scenes are noticeably interconnected, its continuity is rather smooth, finely done as per my amateur naive film-critic self. It's beautiful! =)
